Offers several programs for youth classes and camps for ages 6 - 18. Courses include:

• Teen Art Classes: Drawing, painting, photography, comic art, animation, and a variety of media/materials. Scholarships are available for these courses. These are designed for youth ages 12 - 15.

• Pre-College Classes: Offers high school students the chance to learn from professional artists in art and design during the school year or summer session. Classes offered can be earned as college credits. These are designed for students ages 16 and over. A post-secondary enrollment option is offered as an honors program for high-school seniors, free of charge.

• Student Classes: Offers class themes including painting, bookmaking, animation, portraits, and partners with the University of Minnesota Raptor Center for young children ages 6 - 12.

• Preschool programs (creative, recreational, and socialization) for children ages 3 - 5 including basketball, ballet dancing instruction, jazz dancing instruction, track and field, tennis, hiking, musical instrument instruction, and day camps

• Youth programs for children ages 6 - 12 including field trips, playgrounds with birthday parties, classes, fishing, and special events

• Teen programs for teens ages 13 - 17 such as field trips and special events

• Adult sports providing recreational league play for basketball, boot hockey, broomball, flag football, sand volleyball, soccer, softball, volleyball, and wiffleball

• Senior activities and recreational opportunities including bingo, craft projects, quilting group, book clubs, monthly potlucks and speakers, and field trips

• Walking program

• Offers a variety of art classes which range from a 1-day class to multiple-week courses. Virtual classes are offered.

• Offers both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art mediums including painting, mixed media, printing, hand-built pottery, wheel throwing pottery, stained glass, drawing, sketching, and more

• Offers birthday parties for children. Children make an art project (they can choose a theme or staff can design something just for them) that each child gets to bring home. Themes include Acrylic Painting on Canvas, Clay Sculpture/Hand-Built Pottery, Polymer Clay Sculpture and Watercolor Painting. Each party is 90 minutes of art and 30 minutes for cake and presents. Adults must provide cake, refreshments and any other snacks.

• Private art events can be scheduled. People can bring their own beverage of choice and snacks to enjoy over the 3 hours party. Art materials are provided. Using a step-by-step method, individuals can create their own piece of art.

• Rum River Art Gallery shows local artists' work. Shows change every month. Selected artwork may be available for sale.
