Grief Support - Bri's Lodge

Services include: - Companioning: Grief companions provide a space for individuals to share their feelings in response to their profound loss. Companioning is anchored in respecting and exploring the uniqueness of loss while allowing individuals to share their grief and how it impacts them. - Events: Angel of Hope Candlelit Vigils, Annual Garage Sale, Evening of Hope, Horses Healing Hearts, and Kruzin for Bri's Lodge. - General Loss Support Groups: Offers a safe place for people to share their journey after the loss of their loved one. All groups will provide an experience where feelings, worries, problems, and joys can be expressed and received freely without judgment. This group is open to anyone with a loss of someone. ?- Grief retreats: Provides a place where individuals and families can come together to find peace and solace, a place where they can connect with others who are grieving a similar loss. Grief Support Groups - West Suburban Coalition for Grief Support

Weekly support groups facilitated by volunteers trained in group process. Activities are intended to complement and not replace professional care. Bereavement Support Group - La Crescent Community Bereavement Program

The Community Bereavement Program is a support program that is facilitated by a counselor and nurses for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The program consists of ten sessions held once or twice each year. Participants must register for the program and start each session from the beginning. Attendance at all meetings is recommended, but not required. Sessions are generally held on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 1:30 pm to 3 pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in La Crescent.
