Partners with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) to support military members, veterans, and their families in maintaining their wellbeing through CORE which stands for Casework, Outreach, Referral, and Education. CORE services can foster greater peace of mind and resiliency, support the development of new skills to cope with challenges, and improve relationships. Services include: Behavioral Health Counseling - Deployment and reintegration support - Diagnostic assessment - Family counseling and support - Individual and couples counseling - Trauma-focused behavioral therapy Caregiver Support and Respite - Caregiver coaching and counseling - Caregiver respite - Caregiver support groups - Caregiver training and education - Emergency planning for caregivers - Telephone reassurance Case Management - Case managers assess each individual's situation and create a personalized plan identifying services and resources found at Lutheran Social Services or through a network of providers across Minnesota Financial Counseling - Budgeting - Credit Improvement - Debt Management - Homebuyer Education - Student Loan Counseling Homeless Initiative - Referrals to short and long term shelter options Support Groups - Men's Veterans PTSD Support Group - Women's Support Group for Family Members of Veterans

Provides a broad range of counseling, referral, and other services to help veterans, service members, and their families in a non-medical setting. - Bereavement counseling - Community engagement (provides education on the Veteran community and military culture, and builds referral networks to expand support for Veterans, service members, and their families) - Couples and family counseling - Group counseling - Individual counseling for spouses, children, and significant others - Intimate partner violence support - Military sexual trauma counseling - One-on-one counseling for issues including PTSD, depression, grief, anger, or trauma - Referral services to appropriate resources in the community, including addiction and substance use, homelessness, suicide prevention, and veteran connections - Significant others support group - Telehealth - Transitional counseling - Workshops and classes (Veterans recreational groups)
