Provides information, resources, and a 24-hour helpline about problem gambling. The Department of Human Services created the website and helpline, https://getgamblinghelp.com/, to address and offer aid to those struggling with compulsive gambling. Information for gambling and treatment is available, free of charge, for qualifying individuals throughout Minnesota. To participate in a motivational text messaging program, text HOPE, a text program offering the option to talk with a live counselor, information about problem gambling, encouragement to change, tips, and suggestions on how to make the changes.
