An 8-session program designed for expecting or experienced mothers eager to grow in their parenting and personal relationships. Participants work one-on-one with a Certified Life Coach, and are provided parenting education, confidence boosting, stress reduction, and healthy coping skills. Offers two monthly groups: Moms Group and Latina Moms Group. Moms Group is an opportunity to build community with other moms. Latina Mom's Group is an opportunity to build community with other Spanish-speaking moms. Topics for both groups vary based on client interests and needs.

The Secure unit is a twelve bed detention center. - Group and individual therapy: Are provided for domestic abuse issues. Groups for abusive men and abused women, and play therapy for children who have been abused or have witnessed the abuse. Also offers anger management groups for women. Anger management groups and therapy groups for children and adolescents are available. Parenting groups for parents of children exposed to domestic violence are also available. After completion of the domestic abuse program, restorative parenting groups are offered to men and women to address the needs of children affected by domestic violence. After completion of the domestic abuse program, family therapy and couples therapy may be available for those who wish to work on their relationships. - Sexual Assault Program: Group therapy and individual therapy available to women who have been sexually assaulted or sexually abused at any time in their lives - Restorative Parenting Program: 12-week group therapy program for women whose children have been exposed to domestic violence, and a 10-week group therapy program is available for fathers who have exposed their children to violence in the home. Family therapy is available and recommended in conjunction with the group therapy program. Group therapy for children and adolescents exposed to violence is also available if there are sufficient numbers of age appropriate youth.

The Itaskin Center & Cottage 35-Day Assessment Program is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). This assessment program serves residents between the ages of 10-17 years old. Upon completion of the 35-Day Assessment Program, a Comprehensive Assessment is provided to the youth's guardian and/or treatment team. The Comprehensive Assessment aims to identify child and familial strengths, resiliencies, and opportunities for growth via a multifaceted approach, while also providing diagnoses, recommendations, and a prognosis for recovery. This multifaceted approach involves a behavioral assessment, comprehensive assessment, wellness/recreation assessment, academic assessment, health screening/physical examination. Additional assessments, as requested by individual teams, include a psychiatric assessment and/or chemical use assessment. Upon completion of the program, the assessment team will also recommend a level of care believed to most accurately represent the current needs of the youth and how best to be supported. Opportunities for individual therapy and improving coping skills are provided throughout the 35-day assessment period.

Certifications: QRTP (Qualified Residential Treatment Program) The Itaskin Treatment Center & Cottage Residential Treatment programs provide trauma-informed care in a safe, therapeutic living environment for children diagnosed with a Serious Emotional Disability. The program is adaptive to meet the individual needs of each youth, based on their trauma and mental health screens at admission. Program components include but are not limited to: family integration and support, daily therapeutic groups, cultural education and activities, on-site education, and health screenings and interventions.
