Early Childhood Family Education - ECFE - Cedar Mountain Public School District 2754
ECFE is a parenting education program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to Kindergarten entrance. Learning opportunities through ECFE may occur in a variety of settings, such as the families' homes, district or community sites, and online parenting education and support. Programming and education services often include parents/caregivers and children but may just include parents/caregivers.
Works to strengthen families and engage the ability of all parents to provide an environment that supports the healthy development of their child. Services may include:
- Book and toy lending library
- Dad and child programs
- Early childhood screening for children ages 3 - 5
- Home visits
- Information on community resources
- Parent-child activities
- Parent discussion groups
- Play and learn activities for children
- Programs for non-English language learners?
- School readiness program for children age 3 1/2 - 4
- Single parent program
- Special events for the entire family
- Workshops on specific topics

Programs and Events - Minnesota Zoo
Educational day camps, classes, tours and overnight programs. Programs include:
- Imagination Stations: From September - April, the Sky classroom is open for children ages 2-5 years old and their parents to play together in self-directed play, crafts, sensory activities, and more
- Little Learners Classes: Designed for children ages 2-5 years to explore zoo topics with a parent/guardian
- Moonlight Yoga: A unique yoga experience and occurs once a month from June through October to practice yoga in nature
- Nature Preschool: Six week summer program for little adventurers to explore nature and get to know farm animals
- Special Events: Nature Wellness, Wild Nights, Family Story Walk, Llama Trek, and Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular events held seasonally
- Treetop Trail: A 1.25 mile walking path above ground with access to nature for all ages
- In-Person Summer Camp: Designed for students to connect them with the natural world in a meaningful way
- Virtual and In-Person Yoga: Spring and summer sessions of yoga with the comfort of being at home or in-person.
