Youth Leadership Programs - Neighborhood House

Celita Center: A drop-in center where youth can develop positive relationships with adults, find homework help, a positive social network, and support for whatever is happening in their lives. This program is often a bridge between young people in the communities Neighborhood House serves and more formal, structured programs. Health and Wellness: Program which combines sporting activities and discussion groups to help youth learn how to regulate emotions and promote positive social interactions. Kids Imagine: Combines daily enrichment and tutoring services to impact the lives of children and subsequently their families and community. With staff guidance, kids receive academic support and gain social and emotional learning. Partners with community advocates to allow opportunities for youth to gain experience with art, theatre, and sports. Teaches teens that they are lovable, capable, and worthwhile. Teenagers who attend this program are often referred by their local county, but any teenager is welcome. Community Kids Program - Keystone Community Services

Community Kids: An after-school program for children in grades K-10. Health and Fitness - YMCA of the North

Group Exercise Classes: Members can attend a variety of free fitness classes, including cardio and strength, dance, strength, yoga and pilates, ForeverWell, Kids and Family, and water exercise. Note: Not all classes are offered at all locations. Personal Training and Assessments: Rates for members and non-members. Members can receive a free one-on-one 60-minute assessment session with a certified personal trainer. Personal training sessions are available virtually via Zoom (included in membership or a monthly fee). Water Safety Program: Provides reduced cost water safety instruction for kids ages 5 - 14 and swimming lessons for ages 6 months to adult. Offers parent and child, school-age children, preschool children, and teen and adult swimming lessons and water safety instruction. Member and non-member rates available. Provides trainings and certifications for lifeguard training, CPR and first aid, babysitting safety, safety training for coaches and instructor level training. Classes are offered in a traditional classroom and blended where lessons are online and skills are practiced in class.

Provides programs such as: - Clubs, internships, and leadership development opportunities for youth in grades 6 - 12 to build skills and ambitions - Paid Internships: Offers paid internships to young individuals to earn while they learn.
