The YMCA has a fitness center for individual work-outs and also offers a variety of fitness classes. Fitness classes offered include: aerobics, aquatics, cardio, pilates, yoga, cycling, strength training, flexibility, and relaxation. The Fitness Center has free weights, machine weights, and other training equipment and is open to ages 12 and over. Fitness assessments and personal training services are available. In addition the YMCA offers: - Racquetball/handball courts, - Two gymnasiums, - Two pools available with a pool-lift available for people with disabilities, - Indoor running track , - Two whirlpools, - Two saunas, and - Six locker rooms (including 4 special needs lockers). The YMCA also provides a babysitting service for participants using the facility.

The Girl Scouts develops future leaders by helping girls discover new skills, connect with others, and take action in their communities through a nurturing all-girl environment that strengthens a girl's courage, confidence, and character. Offers a year-round employment program that connects youth to employment, technology, and entrepreneurship. The program prepares young people for success in a competitive workforce by developing the work readiness skills and growth mindset employers need and expect. Opportunities include: - Express Bike Shop Apprenticeships: Youth take donated bikes and return them to productive service in a retail environment. Apprentices might accept donations, manage inventory, wait on customers, repair and maintain bikes, prepare damaged bikes for recycling, and complete a signature project as a team. - Food Shelf Apprenticeships: Located at Keystone's Rice Street food shelf, apprentices stock shelves, help with inventory control, and assist food shelf customers. Additionally, youth with language skills may serve as translators. Youth learn customer service skills and make a difference in their community. - Teen Tutor Apprenticeships: Apprentices provide literacy tutoring to younger students using the evidence-based Sonday System. Each tutor works with a small group of elementary students four days a week at the McDonough Community Center, providing structured sequential literacy lessons. - Teen Tech Apprenticeships: places members of Keystone's Teen Tech Center as paid summer tech apprentices at local companies. Apprentices will get work readiness training like other apprenticeships plus technical training to fit their roles.

Group Exercise Classes: Members can attend a variety of free fitness classes, including cardio and strength, dance, strength, yoga and pilates, ForeverWell, Kids and Family, and water exercise. Note: Not all classes are offered at all locations. Personal Training and Assessments: Rates for members and non-members. Members can receive a free one-on-one 60-minute assessment session with a certified personal trainer. Personal training sessions are available virtually via Zoom (included in membership or a monthly fee). Small Group Training Programs: - Provides opportunities for small group training and flex training. Available classes vary by location. Rates for members and non-members. - Wellness 180 provides a series of lessons that will help educate participants in and out of a classroom setting on how gradual lifestyle changes can positively impact their health. Rates for members and non-members. - Wellbeats is for kids ages 3 to 14 who are participants of Kids Stuff or child care (must be a member). Kids Stuff provides free drop-off child care while parents/caregivers work out (must be a member). Elder Care: Provides specific programs and services to support older adults age 55 and older, including in-person activities and free classes. - ForeverWell: Provides members with wellness activities for older adults age 55 and older including virtually online or in-person options. Must be a member for the virtual online activities. Also provides wellness checks for senior ForeverWell members. The George Wellbeing programs offer guidance, virtually or one-on-one in a group setting, with a board-certified coach, to help participants navigate healthy choices. Adult Sports Leagues: Provides team, doubles, and individuals sport activities. Opportunities for members and non-members. Kids Sports: Provides year-round activities and program for kids of all ages and skill levels, including youth sports leagues and classes, summer sports, Homeschool Physical Education, and adult sports leagues. Members and non-members are welcome to participate. Offers youth with disabilities age 8 and up opportunities to participate in the Blazing Stars Special Olympics Team. The Young Athletes program introduces children ages 2 to 7 with and without intellectual disabilities to the world of sports. Orthology: Provides physical therapy and chiropractic services Kids and Families: Provides exercises classes, adventure racing, free child care while members work out, Parents Night Out provides child care for an evening out, family friendly fitness centers, and youth and family fitness cards that outlines an entire workout from warm-ups to cool down stretches. Journey to Freedom: Provides an 8 week session where participants meet in small-group discussions, read, reflect, find support, and heal. The goal of the program is to build community and support successful life change in a safe place. Specialty series include Freedom from Body Image and Food Issues, Freedom from Low Self-Esteem, Freedom from the Pain of Grief and Disappointment, and Freedom from Fear. Condition Specific Programs: Include tailored health and fitness programs for people with health conditions including Parkinson's disease and pre-diabetes. Water Safety Program: Provides reduced cost water safety instruction for kids ages 5 - 14 and swimming lessons for ages 6 months to adult. Offers parent and child, school-age children, preschool children, and teen and adult swimming lessons and water safety instruction. Member and non-member rates available. Provides trainings and certifications for lifeguard training, CPR and first aid, babysitting safety, safety training for coaches and instructor level training. Classes are offered in a traditional classroom and blended where lessons are online and skills are practiced in class.

Offers youth and family programs, including the following: - Active Family and Community Engagement: Engages family at school-based community events, which build bridges between school and home. - Collaborative Leadership and Practices: Include professional learning communities, site-based teams charged with improving school policy and classroom teaching and learning, labor-management collaborations, and teacher development strategies such as peer assistance and review. - Expanded and Enriched Learning Time and Opportunities: Collaborates with community partners to provide learning activities during out-of-school time and summer, using school facilities and other community spaces. Programs vary depending on community priorities and include arts, physical activity, small group and individualized academic support, and hands-on learning activities. - Integrated Student Supports: Coordinates on-site services to support students in overcoming a range of barriers to educational and life success. Services are unique to each school based on the specific needs of the students and community, and may include access to medical, dental, and mental health care services, tutoring, and other academic supports. Schools are also developing restorative practices to reduce punitive disciplinary actions such as suspensions.
