- Bring donations to donation door D, located on the southeast side of the building, closest to Tenvoorde Ford. Do not leave donations outside the doors. Donations must be collected and weighed by Catholic Charities staff to ensure food safety standards and inventory tracking. - Receipts are available. - Accepts the following new or gently used items for donations for Basic Everyday Essentials: - Accessories: scarves, hats, mittens, backpacks, small luggage - Baby items: clothing, blankets, crib sheets, bottles, bibs, baby food, and formula - Kitchen items: pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware - Men, women, and children's clothing; greatest need for adults who are tall and larger sizes - Shoes - Small kitchen appliances: toasters, blenders, mixers, coffee makers - Towels, washcloths, sheets, blankets, bed pillows - Accepts the following items for donations for the Food Shelf: - Feminine hygiene products - Fresh produce (including home-grown) - Laundry detergent - Non-perishable food items - Personal care items: deodorant, shaving lotion and razors, shampoo/conditioner, soap, and toothpaste Volunteer positions: - Emergency Services Food Shelf - Emergency Services Basic Everyday Essentials - Individual, group, and student opportunities and court-ordered community service - Senior dining/Meals on Wheels: deliver meals, prepare food, set up dining sites for meals, serve meals, clean up after meals and clerical tasks - Student interns

Southern Valley Alliance offers awareness training presentations and builds relationships with community partners about domestic violence, education to youth, inform neighbors, and other community groups.
