Youth Intensive Outpatient Program After School Program - PrairieCare

Offered year-round as an After School Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed for adolescents ages 12 - 18 years. The program has an average length of 6 - 8 weeks long. The program allows patients the opportunity to work programming into their currently scheduled schooling and activities. This treatment program will focus on skills building and support for adolescents and their parents and caregivers. Adolescents who enter the program typically will have difficulty functioning in one or more of the following areas: family/relationships, school, and community. The treatment team works closely with families to tailor the program to the individual needs of the adolescent and their family. Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs - IOP - PrairieCare

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provides a partial-day program level of care to individuals struggling with symptoms of mental illness that are interfering with their daily living and are not manageable in weekly therapy or medication management. The program is four to five days per week where the patient returns home after each treatment day and runs 6 - 8 weeks long. Access to care begins with an assessment to identify the treatment approach that could be most beneficial in treatment. IOP offers multiple modalities of therapeutic programming such as: Adapted Dialectical Behavior Therapy (A-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy integrating the needs of those living with mental illness. Specialized IOP tracks include Perinatal IOP for pregnant and postpartum individuals to under Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). Treatment is provided through several ways such as psychiatric medication management, psychoeducation, group and individual therapy, skills building, symptom management, and art therapy. Transportation options are also available to and from IOP programming through the client's insurance provider. Clients should reach out to their Medical Assistance provider 1-3 days ahead to set up transportation. NOTE: Adapted Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (A-DBT) services are only available at Edina and Woodbury sites.

This may include decreasing their substance use and the negative consequences related to their use, or it may include a desire to achieve abstinence from substance use. Adult Group Therapy - Woodland Centers

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Cognitive Behavioral Therapy group psycho-educational and depression management skills training program with group process. Program has 4 modules, with 4 lessons in each module. There is minimal homework for the individual to complete. This can be an adjunct to individual psychotherapy and/or as a step-down from a higher level of care. ?- Thoughts: Learn to identify the individual's thinking patterns and change the way they think ?- Activities: Learn relaxation skills, ways to increase pleasant activities, and how to set meaningful and achievable goals ?- Interpersonal Skills: Learn to identify strategies that work to improve the individual's relationships with others, assertiveness skills, and how to handle conflict ?- Depression and Health: Learn how sleep, diet, and exercise affect depression and the individual's overall health Depression Management Groups meet weekly.
