Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs - IOP - PrairieCare
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provides a partial-day program level of care to individuals struggling with symptoms of mental illness that are interfering with their daily living and are not manageable in weekly therapy or medication management. The program is four to five days per week where the patient returns home after each treatment day and runs 6 - 8 weeks long. Access to care begins with an assessment to identify the treatment approach that could be most beneficial in treatment.
IOP offers multiple modalities of therapeutic programming such as: Adapted Dialectical Behavior Therapy (A-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy integrating the needs of those living with mental illness. Specialized IOP tracks include Perinatal IOP for pregnant and postpartum individuals to under Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs).
Treatment is provided through several ways such as psychiatric medication management, psychoeducation, group and individual therapy, skills building, symptom management, and art therapy.
Transportation options are also available to and from IOP programming through the client's insurance provider. Clients should reach out to their Medical Assistance provider 1-3 days ahead to set up transportation.
NOTE: Adapted Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (A-DBT) services are only available at Edina and Woodbury sites.

Substance Use Disorder Services - Alluma
Provides an outpatient treatment program for individuals who are chemically dependent and/or have co-occurring disorders. A licensed 245G substance use disorder treatment program. Clients will need to have a substance use evaluation to determine the level of treatment they need. Additional services offered:

Clients will need to have a substance use evaluation to determine the level of treatment they need. Additional services offered:
- Co-occurring disorders treatment program
- Group counseling to gain perspective, connection, and healing
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): A treatment option for adults ages 18 and older who need more intensive services toward recovery while continuing to live at home, work, and be active in the community
- Substance Use Assessment and Counseling: Provides a comprehensive substance use assessment to establish the type and severity of the substance use disorder diagnosis. Also, offers one-on-one counseling with a licensed alcohol and drug counselor for adolescents and adults.

- Short-term Assessment and Treatment Program (STAT): Short-term intensive program for adolescents and adults designed to prevent out of home placement, long-term day treatment placement, prevent hospitalization and help stabilize the client and his/her family. Provides a comprehensive assessment of the client and family, teaches skills, and provides structure designed to stabilize the client and family situation and develops a comprehensive intervention plan.
- Da-TRAC: Group therapy blended with mental health education to emphasize management of destructive and ineffective symptoms, and development and enhancement of health coping skills. Four tracks:

Individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (Dialectic Behavior Therapy)
Individuals experiencing difficulty in managing anger
Individuals in need of intensive assessment

Helps families understand various gender issues by developing customized treatment plans that may include:
- Individual, family, and/or group therapy and psychoeducation
- Communication and consultation with psychiatric and general mental health providers (when applicable)
- Medical care including: individualized information sessions on puberty suppression and hormone therapy; gender affirming medication interventions including puberty suppression, men- strual suppression, and hormone therapy
- Care coordination to help clients navigate the healthcare system and access resources
Adult Gender Services
Services for adults and their families may including:
- Individual, family, and/or group therapy and psychoeducation
- Therapeutic sessions to explore and discuss relationships and sexual health (pleasure-oriented positive sexuality)

- Gender affirming medical care including menstrual suppression and individualized hormone therapy, including low dose options
