Emergency medicine and Level 4 trauma center for severe and life-threatening situations that require immediate medical attention including:- Adult mental health hospital care: For adults ages 18 and older who need 24 hour hospital care. Criteria for admission to the unit are for the patient to be a danger to self or others. This treatment program is for patients who have a major mental illness and require professional assistance to learn how to cope with significant problems they are experiencing in day-to-day living. Patients receive care in the secured hospital unit while learning how to manage their illness. Professionals from a variety of health care disciplines including psychiatrists, hospitalists, registered nurses, social workers, program specialists and leisure skills facilitators assist patients with treatment and recovery.?- Chest pain or pressure- Head injury - Heart attack or acute coronary syndrome- Seizures- Severe abdominal pain - Sexual assault- Shortness of breath or pneumonia- Stroke - Sudden, severe headaches, paralysis or weakness- Traumatic injury - Uncontrolled bleeding

Offers an inpatient psychiatric program for adults experiencing serious mental health crises or severe psychiatric conditions. Services include:- Comfort and healing environment: Private rooms with bathrooms, quiet areas, a comfort room, activity spaces (like a game room or yoga), and communal areas to relax- Intensive, trauma-informed therapy: Patients receive daily individual sessions, psychiatric evaluation, and group therapy (e.g., life skills, occupational therapy, music therapy, pet therapy) - Medication management: Psychiatrists, advanced practice clinicians, and pharmacists work together to tailor and adjust medications - Occupational therapy: The OT team helps patients develop recovery goals, build daily living skills (self-care, time management, social skills), and manage sensory or emotional needs - Social work and discharge planning: Social workers support patients and families, coordinate community resources, and help plan for a safe transition out of inpatient care

Groups meet twice each week for four hours each day. This is not a dementia or recreational program.

Provides emergency mental health and substance abuse services for adults designed to improve patient outcomes.In the emergency department, patients receive a quick medical screening exam. Once evaluated, patients are invited to a more intimate environment staffed with mental health experts for an approach to care that is comfortable, soothing, and healing with access to psychiatry providers, therapists, mental health nurses and specialists to help stabilize patients often eliminating the need for inpatient admission. Patients typically spend 12 to 48 hours in the EmPATH service. As patients prepare to leave, they are equipped with a care plan, next steps, connections to follow-up resources and programs, and a safety plan for the next time a triggering event occurs.

Provides crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment of psychiatric emergencies primarily directed towards the adult population ages 18 and older. Under urgent circumstances, adolescents ages 13 and over will be evaluated. Also provides referrals to primary psychiatric care, chemical dependency treatment, and crisis residence.

Services include:- A care model providing the EmPATH Unit to treat patients with emergency mental health needs. The unit transitions patients from the emergency department into a welcoming and calm setting to provide assessment, initial treatment, and begin the healing process. A treatment plan is developed prior to transitioning to the next level of recommended care.- Addressing a wide variety of challenges such as abuse/neglect, addictions, ADHD, adjustment problems, anxiety, autism, behavior problems, chronic medical conditions, co-dependency, depression, divorce issues, eating disorders, family changes, family dysfunction, grief/loss issues, learning disorders, parenting issues, personality disorders, PTSD, recovery/relapse issues, relationship issues, school problems, and women's issues.- Comprehensive inpatient services for complete psychiatric care and treatment plan.- Outpatient services such as individual, couples, and family therapy.- Psychological testing for diagnosis and personalized treatment planning.- Treatment may include educational programs on wellness and relationships, group therapy, leisure and recreational therapy, comprehensive evaluation, medications, and psychiatric psychotherapy.- Video visits are optional

Provides inpatient behavioral health care to adults that community hospitals cannot or will not treat. Patients often have highly complex psychiatric and medical conditions and can exhibit challenging or aggressive behaviors. Most patients have been civilly committed by a court as mentally ill. Many are under more than one civil commitment. Many patients are facing criminal proceedings.Secure facility. On average, patients stay in the hospital about 90 days before discharge.
