Mental Health Programs - Amherst H. Wilder Foundation
Provides outpatient mental health, wellness, addiction, substance use disorder, and recovery services for individuals and family members of all ages, that is culturally competent, rooted in community support, and connection. Programs provided:
- Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS): Support individuals in managing symptoms and reaching personal goals through in-home and community-based care. Services are open to individuals and families to help individuals manage mental health symptoms, build everyday tasks, and work toward goals like employment, housing, or connection to community resources.
- Assertive Community Treatment (ACT): Offers multilingual, multicultural support for Southeast Asian adults living with a mental illness. Services are open to individuals and families to help individuals manage their mental health symptoms, help with medications, housing, employment, and recovery.
- Targeted Case Management: Coordinated care and community support for adults. Offers one-on-one support for adults living with a mental illness. Case managers connect adults with mental health care, medical services, housing, and community services.
- Therapy Services: Personalized trauma-informed therapy for adults and families to help clients navigate life's challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting challenges, loss, conflict, and relationship issues. Services are provided in-person and telehealth.
- Recovery Services: Strength-based care for individuals and families navigating substance use and recovery. Offers an intensive outpatient program providing same-day evaluations, relapse prevention, and peer services. Group therapy services are offered in relation to recovery, providing resources, education, and support.

- Works with the Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities to provide leadership training to people with disabilities in the Somali and Latinx communities
- Works with the Minnesota Department of Health to assess Somali communities throughout southern Minnesota for suicide prevention readiness and come up with plans to increase prevention measures
Resettlement

- Mindfulness Training: Provided to resettled youth to help cope with resettlement and adjustment
- Youth Strive Program: Serves recent refugees of Somali and/or East African descent who are in middle and high school to help them navigate post-graduation options

Mental Health Programs - Amherst H. Wilder Foundation
Provides outpatient mental health, wellness, addiction, substance use disorder, and recovery services for individuals and family members of all ages, that is culturally competent, rooted in community support, and connection. Programs provided:
- Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS): Support individuals in managing symptoms and reaching personal goals through in-home and community-based care. Services are open to individuals and families to help individuals manage mental health symptoms, build everyday tasks, and work toward goals like employment, housing, or connection to community resources.
- Assertive Community Treatment (ACT): Offers multilingual, multicultural support for Southeast Asian adults living with a mental illness. Services are open to individuals and families to help individuals manage their mental health symptoms, help with medications, housing, employment, and recovery.
- Targeted Case Management: Coordinated care and community support for adults. Offers one-on-one support for adults living with a mental illness. Case managers connect adults with mental health care, medical services, housing, and community services.
- Therapy Services: Personalized trauma-informed therapy for adults and families to help clients navigate life's challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting challenges, loss, conflict, and relationship issues. Services are provided in-person and telehealth.
- Recovery Services: Strength-based care for individuals and families navigating substance use and recovery. Offers an intensive outpatient program providing same-day evaluations, relapse prevention, and peer services. Group therapy services are offered in relation to recovery, providing resources, education, and support.

- Leadership Training: Summer leadership training for students
- Mentorship: Provided by Somali/East African college students and graduates over video conferencing platforms. An individualized plan is created to help with academics, college admission, online learning, etc.
- Middle School Strive Program: Provides a space in which East African youth can connect to discuss, learn, and get the support needed from their peers and program mentors
- Mindfulness Training: Provided to resettled youth to help cope with resettlement and adjustment
- Youth Strive Program: Serves recent refugees of Somali and/or East African descent who are in middle and high school to help them navigate post-graduation options
- Youth Workshops: Provides short-term workshops regarding professional development that includes creating a resume, cover letter, and interview best practices, and digital literacy that includes cyberbulling, internet security, researching, and professional engagement.
