Chemical Health Services - Conceptual Counseling

An outpatient substance uses treatment center providing tailored services to meet the unique needs and circumstances of clients. Services are designed to assist both men and women with substance use related issues. Services provided: - Assessment in person or by phone to determine treatment planning and if the treatment program is a good match - Comprehensive chemical health assessments - Continuing care for a follow-up program after completion of treatment - DWI/DUI license reinstatement to clients to obtain driving privileges - Education programs for alcohol and drug awareness - Individual counseling in conjunction with group counseling - Individualized primary group therapy for day and evening programs where clients meet one to five times a week - Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): A cognitive-behavioral program that enhances moral reasoning, decision-making, and appropriate behavior through a step-by-step approach, aimed at reducing the risk of relapse, and recidivism in individuals with substance use disorders.

Offers a wide range of mental health and substance abuse services, such as: - Adolescent Co-Occurring Disorders Outpatient Program: Provides care for adolescents with a dual diagnosis of mental health and substance use disorders. - Adult Day Treatment: An intensive day treatment program for individuals who are newly diagnosed or experience an increase in symptoms from prolonged illness. Groups meet three days per week for 3 hours each day. - Lodging Plus Program: An intensive outpatient chemical dependency program located within the University of Minnesota Medical Center, serving deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing clients embedded within the larger hearing population. - Mental Health Emergency Services: Assists in behavioral emergencies, assesses, stabilizes, and offers next steps recommendations - Mental Health Inpatient Treatment: Provides 24 hours/7 days a week care, acute crisis assessment, focused intervention, and discharge planning - Mental Health Outpatient Treatment: Provides comprehensive mental health services for individuals struggling with a variety of mental health symptoms. ??- Mental Illness and Substance Abuse: An abstinence-based day treatment program. Groups meet Monday through Friday for three hours each day for about 6-8 weeks. Services include regular follow-up with a physician who specializes in mental health and addiction medicine. - Partial Hospitalization: An intensive short-term program for individuals with anxiety and/or depression. Groups meet five hours a day, five days a week, for about 2-3 weeks. Individuals will have regular follow up with a psychiatrist. - Senior Mental Health Inpatient Treatment: Offers a treatment program for older adults - 55+ Day Treatment: Provides treatment to people experiencing mental health symptoms for the first time or those with a longer history of mental illness. Groups meet twice each week for four hours each day. This is not a dementia or recreational program.
