Provides outpatient chemical dependency treatment services to adults struggling with chemical dependency and mental health disorders. Offers services that are evidence-based practice models, group-focused, and non-residential substance programs. The program offers an individual-based duration depending on needs and participation. Transition to outpatient or aftercare groups is available for continuing care needs. Also provides addiction and substance use counseling.

Prevention 4 Teens is an education-based substance use prevention program for youth who are experiencing problems associated with alcohol or other drug use but do not meet diagnostic criteria for substance use disorder or require more formal interventions. Offers guidance, education, and support for families through two sessions with a counselor.

Provides chemical abuse and dependency treatment. Program offers:

• Aftercare and continuing care: Support and counseling to maintain recovery after primary treatment; clients who completed primary care elsewhere may enroll in this portion

A Rule 25 Chemical Health Assessment may be ordered by a court, or an individual may want to pursue an assessment on their own to determine if there is an issue with their chemical use. If a person is deemed by an assessor to be in need of treatment, at any level, a referral and placement in a treatment center of the client's choice may occur. Ross Resources is one of the Itasca County contracted agencies to provide these assessments to both youth and adults who are Itasca County residents. A referral/intake form will need to be completed and insurance information will be gathered. If an individual does not have insurance, they are still eligible for treatment dollars through the Consolidated Fund should they qualify.

Provides substance use prevention services, including:

• Drug and Alcohol Education Diversion Program: For youth and young adults in the beginning stages of substance use who have gotten into legal or school trouble due to their substance use. Parents are required to participate for participants under age 18.

• Individual and family substance use counseling for adolescents, young adults, and adults

• Substance Use Assessments: A licensed alcohol and drug counselor conducts substance use assessments for adolescents and adults

• Rule 31 substance abuse outpatient program: Specializes in treating co-occurring disorders (substance abuse and mental health). Provides "emotion based" interventions and teaches life skills. Examples of therapies used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brain Spotting, Individual Therapy, and Group Therapy.

Offers confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Services include counseling for needs such as depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST).

Works with individuals seeking recovery to consult, provide substance use evaluations, individual and family counseling, group outpatient programming, treatment of co-occurring disorders, treatment coordination, and referrals for additional services. Can provide treatment for co-occurring disorders through mental health professionals who can help provide behavioral support throughout the treatment process.
