- Keewatin has a city park located on third avenue across from the city hall. It has a pavilion with electricity and is used mostly for celebrations.
- There are two playgrounds owned by the city; as well as the school playground. One of these is at Peter Filippi Field; located at the eastern end of Third Avenue. Baraga Park and Playground is located at the corner of Fifth Street and West Howard Avenue.
- In the summer, Peter Filippi Field is where you will find the local youngsters. There are baseball, skateboard park and softball fields which host a summer ball program for boys and girls of all ages.
- In the winter, Peter Filippi Field is alive with skaters. There is an area for free style skating and a hockey rink. A warming house is open from 3:00 P.M. on weekdays and from noon until 9:00 P.M. on weekends with an attendant on duty. -
