An advocate for public education with members who work in grades pre-Kindergarten - 12 and higher education institutions in Minnesota. Programs for members include: - Advocacy at the legislature to keep members informed, connecting with state officials, and resources to influence public policy - Professional growth development offering educational opportunities available online or in-person trainings/workshops for free - Social justice partnering with other labor unions and advocacy groups to advocate for a better Minnesota on issues such as educator pay, pensions, health care, education funding, education support, freedom to learn/teach, and more
