Housing Policy and Education - Metropolitan Interfaith Council on Affordable Housing

Advances affordable housing policies at the local, regional, and state levels by mobilizing community support for affordable housing development proposals and by preserving homes at risk of demolition. Offers educational events to train and inform its constituency and to increase its visibility in the community.

Tenants Advocacy and Resource Information - Community Stabilization Project

Provides advocacy services for tenants of substandard housing, facilitates contact with city inspection departments, and negotiates with landlords to get repairs made. Additional services include: - Educates tenants about legal advice, utility assistance, housing court assistance, protection, and remedies - Explores communal resolution of the issues found at the intersection of housing, race, and class - Healthy Homes project: Provides tools to help residents empower themselves to create healthier choices, livelihood, and opportunities for individuals to become proactive on their issues and policies that are impacting their health and community
