Public Health Educators answer questions and provide information on environmental health topics such as mold, radon, and rabies. They perform inspections only for property complaints deemed public health nuisances, such as dumping garbage or exposed sewage. Radon home test kits are available for $2 as supplies last.

• The Building Inspector interprets, administers and enforces the City Building Code and Plumbing Code, which are based upon the State of MN Building Code and Plumbing Code. - The primary objective of the Building Official is to work with citizens, business owners, contractors, etc. to help them understand the importance of building codes and to help them incorporate the Code Provisions into their respective building projects.
