City Offices - Milroy City Offices

- Animal Services: Offers a lifetime license for all dogs and cats within the city. Also provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety, and welfare of both people and animals in our community. -Responding to stray animal complaints - Impoundments - Barking dog complaints - Ordinance enforcement - Building/Zoning: Permits are required for many projects, such as; building/moving in a storage shed; building/replacing a deck; putting up a fence, etc. Permits are not required for shingling a roof, siding, or replacing a window if the work does not change the housing structure. - Garbage and Recycling: Contracts with Southwest Sanitation for solid waste collection. Garbage is picked up on Thursday mornings. Recycling is picked up by Redwood County Recycling every other Wednesday morning. - Mayor and City Council: Member information - Parks and Recreation: The City Park is centrally located within the city along Highway 68/Euclid Avenue. The City Park offers a variety of recreational activities and modern playground equipment. The park shelter is available to rent. ??- Public Works/Maintenance: Is responsible for the city streets and alleys, water system, sanitary sewer system, and the city park.?? - Water Utilities: Provides safe, high-quality water services to the community, while maintaining a standard of excellence in customer service and environmental conservation. City Offices - Mora City Offices

Mayor and City Council Members: - Member information City Departments: - Administration: Responsible for various services to other departments of the city as well as the public such as elections, voting information, licensing/permits, and finance - Building Inspection Department: Oversees construction projects meet requirements of the state building code. Responsible for issuing building permits, collection applicable fees, and performing the required inspections. - Fire Department: Provides fire suppression, fire prevention, and rescue services to city residents of Mora, Quamba, all or a part of the following townships of Arthur, Brunswick, Comfort, Grass Lake, Hillman, Knife Lake, Peace, Pomroy, and Whited - Parks and Recreation Department: Oversees the city parks and hosts community events - Street Department: Responsible for street maintenance, street cleanings, snowplowing, and parking information during the winter months - Mora Municipal Utilities: Governed by the Mora Public Utilities Commission operating the water, wastewater, and electric utilities within the city and other parts of townships

Mayor and City Council Members: ?Member Contact Information City Administration/City Office Personnel: - City manager - City Clerk - Finance Director - Building Official - Community Development Director - Utility Billing Clerk - Finance Clerk - City provides building permits, garbage collection, sewer and water services, and zoning permits. - Economic Development Authority(EDA) provides technical and financial services to assist in business start-up, expansion, and acquisition projects. The EDA will customize the assistance based upon the specifics of the project. - Fire Department is operated by volunteers and a fire chief. - Public works include maintenance of streets, street lights, parks, sidewalks, cemetery and the outdoor swimming pool, and removal of snow and ice from city streets.
