- A food shelf open to participants to walk-through and shop for food once per week. The food shelf offers fresh produce, dairy products, eggs, meat, grains, shelf stable protein, cooking and baking ingredients, baby food, and more. - Donations accepted such as fresh and frozen food items, diapers, and money - Families with young children can access diapers ranging from size newborn - 6 years and diaper wipes every week - Home delivery may be available to community members with limited mobility or special circumstances - Items provided may also include feminine hygiene products, household products, toiletries, detergent, and soap. Items are dependent upon donations. - Staff can assist with applications for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and refer to other resources

Limited assistance with infant clothing, formula, and baby supplies available to clients enrolled in the Earn While You Learn (EWYL) program while in the first trimester of pregnancy. - Accepts donations of new and used baby clothing and other equipment that is clean and in good condition. Can accept emergency clients (individuals past their first trimester) on a case by case basis. An intake interview with a client coordinator and program director approval is required. - Clothing for infants ages birth - 3 - Diapers, formula, baby food, blankets, used baby equipment

Community Ministries - Love INC - Big Woods

Work with clients to establish relationships and work through temporary hardships. Partners with the Buffalo Food Shelf, Blessing Closet, and the Buffalo Rotary. Offers services such as: - Baby items such as diapers, wipes, blankets, and bottles. Delivers items and accepts baby items. Will not accept crib furniture with drop sides or car seats. - Gas vouchers on a limited basis - Minor car repair assistance of up to $300 per family per year. The small grant goes toward paying for parts and volunteer labor is provided. - Moving services to help clients move within the area with at least a two-week notice. - Volunteer drivers to provide transportation to medical appointments or job interviews. 2 - 3 day notice is required.

Provides food; regular distribution can be done during open hours. If unable to attend, clients may send a proxy to collect food on their behalf. Emergency food boxes are available between distributions for people in a food emergency.
