- Bring donations to donation door D, located on the southeast side of the building, closest to Tenvoorde Ford. Do not leave donations outside the doors. Pathway of Hope: Designated case management for families with children. Food Shelf: Available once per calendar month. Walk-in during open hours. Culturally-specific food is often available. Hygiene: Hygiene kits are typically available. Showers are available for people who are unhoused during specific hours. Transportation: Must be able to verify that the client has a permanent job for which they have not received their first paycheck or a medical appointment. Clients should bring a letter (on company letterhead) stating when they started working and when they will get their first paycheck. Transportation is limited to once a year. Case-by-case exceptions may be made depending on the transportation need. HeatShare: Serves NE and SE Minneapolis. Employment services: job leads, resume assistance, job search techniques instruction Seasonal services: Family Camp, coats for kids, holiday programs for Easter and Thanksgiving, and emergency disaster services. Provides emergency food. Families are welcome to choose any food they need and can use, according to family size and may access the food shelf as often as they need. Services include: - Home Delivery: Non-perishable food items plus dairy, butter, milk, eggs, fresh produce, and frozen meat are delivered to individuals who are homebound - Must Go Produce: Extra food available for families for the weekend - Summer Bag Program: Provides additional kid-friendly food to families with school-age children during the summer. Weekend bags provide additional food for school-age children receiving free or reduced lunches but still struggle with hunger on weekends. Each bag includes healthy food options for kids such as canned fruit and vegetable; juice box; spaghetti and spaghetti sauce; potential extras like granola bars and fruit cups. 1 bag is available for every 2 children. 1 bag is available per month. Goal is to help compensate for kids who aren't getting school lunch during the summer.
