Offers the following services: ?- Food Shelf: Provides a 7-day supply of food to those in need including fresh produce, meat and dairy. Baby products and hygiene items often available. On-site food pantry may be used twice per month. Food delivery appointments may also be available. Helping Hands Pantry - Hosanna Lutheran Church - Rochester

Based on the idea of the "little free library", a smaller, more private way to help individuals in need. People may stop by the pantry outside to pick up what they need without having to come into the building to talk to someone. Accepts donations of and provides: Non-perishable canned and boxed food, ready to eat meals, personal care items like paper towels, toilet paper and other toiletries, water, and fresh produce in the summer. Availability of items varies.

Donations are accepted during food shelves' open hours and may include canned and boxed foods, cereal, peanut butter, pasta, rice, juice, pet food, dish and laundry soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and shampoo/conditioner.

Food Pantry - Waseca Area Neighborhood Service Center

Provides an open door food shelf to offer clients the ability to choose and select what their families will eat. Food items include fresh produce, meat, bread, and canned items. Services are provided weekly to all clients to shop. Supplemental food are available to older adults aged 60 years and older with pre-packaged Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) boxes to be picked up in person during regular food shelf hours.

Food Shelf - ACBC Food Shelf and Thrift Store

- Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP): Provides low-income adults ages 60 and older with additional food and nutrition education. Items are selected by participants each month. - Food Shelf Market: Can be utilized once each month. Individuals receive a 7-to-10-day supply of food including fresh produce, meat, dairy, eggs, bread, shelf-stable, pet food, hygiene, and more. Choices can not be guaranteed due to limited quantity of items. - Summer Food for Kids: During the regular food shopping appointment, households with school-age children have the option to choose additional 'kid-friendly' food - Weekly Program: Additional food services available for those who are experiencing homelessness. Other special events such as produce distributions and additional shopping opportunities on select Fridays. - Personal care items and food donations are accepted

Shelves are restocked throughout the day, so everyone has equal access to offerings, regardless of their shopping day or time.

Provides individuals and families with a variety of nutritious food using a "client choice" option and the opportunity to stretch limited household budgets. Personal care items, when available. Offers emergency food to any household experiencing a food crisis, regardless of household income. For a standard visit, household income should be at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Accepts donations of food and personal care items.

Venison Donation Website - Minnesota Department of Agriculture - State Office

Online information concerning the hunter-harvested deer donation program. Program operates in cooperation with the Department of Natural Resources - Carcasses must be free from signs of illness, field dressed with the hide intact, free of visible decomposition or contamination, and properly identified with a Minnesota DNR registration tag - Charities wishing to receive the meat must register with the Department of Agriculture online or by calling 651-201-6024 - Hunters must have their deer processed at a Department of Agriculture-registered meat processing plant.
