Staff and volunteers help each visitor shop for their choice of fresh produce, meat, bread, and shelf-stable foods. Participants may visit once per month and receive 20 pounds of food each time. Thrifty Threads sells donations of gently used items such as quality clothing, shoes, jewelry, toys, books, and household items and greeting cards. All proceeds benefit the Fillmore County Development Activity Center. Thrifty Threads is able to provide retail training and experience to individuals with disabilities. Donations are appreciated - Thrifty Threads is unable to accept electronics. Items can be dropped off during business hours.
