- Consultation and technical assistance is provided to employers regarding child care - Support and information telephone service for family child care providers - Technical assistance related to children, parents, program, guidance, child development and business issues Build Your Own Child Care Program: staff meet with the participants to assess needs and design a plan, set goals, and create a timeline unique to the child care program needs. Offers up to 20 hours of free individualized service and will help: - Access required training and professional development opportunities - Connect clients with a Parent Aware Coach who will work with them to build a quality, star-rated program - Navigate the Minnesota Department of Human Services Licensing process - Set up the child care environment

Public Programming: Workshops, Meals On Wheels delivery, Coffee Connection (Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 12 pm), weekly activities (education hour, arts and crafts, games, and more), Bone Builders (Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 am - 10:30 am), Finland Community Senior Meal (2nd Wednesday 11:30 am - 1 pm), non-medical nail care and blood pressure clinics (3rd Thursday 9 am - 3 pm), monthly foot care clinics (call for dates). Resources: Technology support (Tech Tuesdays - volunteer-led assistance Tuesdays, 11 am - 2 pm) and referrals, free tax preparation (VITA), Medicare workshops (during open enrollment), legal kiosk, medical equipment loan closet, and Per Mar medical alert system setup. Volunteer Opportunities: Casual volunteer, Driver, friendly visitor/caller, fundraising volunteer, garden helper, governance volunteer, pet therapy volunteer, program assistant or leader, tax helper, and tech support volunteer.
