Behavioral Health Care Program - River City Therapy Center

Provides therapy and counseling services for individuals age birth - 21 and their families and caregivers that have disorders that affect social, learning, and behavior including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for autism spectrum disorder and related disabilities. Offers tailored services to each individual and can include expressive and receptive communication skill building, social behavior skills, activities of daily living, educational skills, and vocational skills.

Community-Based Therapeutic Services - Lorenz Clinic

Provides a diagnostic assessment to determine if in-home services are medically necessary. Goals are made in collaboration with the child, caregivers, clinician, and the frequency of the therapy and/or skills training service based on need. Meeting in-home with clinicians to help improve functioning at home, school, and in the community while preventing higher levels of care such as hospitalization or partial hospitalization.

Advocacy Services: - The center advocates in areas of civil and human rights, employment/disability benefits, housing, transportation, and on the state, local, and federal levels Equipment Loaner Closet: - Loans a range of home medical equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, power chairs, canes, transfer benches, raised toilet seats, and more. Equipment are available on a first come first served basis and will hold equipment for a 24-hour period. - Swap Shop: A self-directed equipment listing available for persons shopping/looking for used equipment. Celita Center: A drop-in center where youth can develop positive relationships with adults, find homework help, a positive social network, and support for whatever is happening in their lives. This program is often a bridge between young people in the communities Neighborhood House serves and more formal, structured programs. Health and Wellness: Program which combines sporting activities and discussion groups to help youth learn how to regulate emotions and promote positive social interactions. Kids Imagine: Combines daily enrichment and tutoring services to impact the lives of children and subsequently their families and community.
