Helps individuals develop a road map to navigate through the thoughts, emotions, and questions around memory loss and dementia, including: - Available community and financial resources - An overview of legal and financial considerations - How to build a care team - Role changes in the family - Partnering with the health care provider - Safety Planning
Licensed Skilled Care Residents receive assistance throughout the day in the following areas: - Bathing - Dressing - Eating - Grooming - Ambulatory services Other services include: - Skilled Alzheimer's Unit/Board and Care Early Memory Loss Unit - Medications administered by the nursing staff - Physical, occupational and speech therapy are available - IV therapy is available at Skilled Care - Three daily meals served in a congregate dining room located on each floor - Therapeutic recreation - Social service - Chaplaincy - Laundry and housekeeping The Alzheimer's Unit and Early Memory Loss Unit are secured units designed to provide specialized care to those who are experiencing various stages of dementia.

Offers local support groups for caregivers and individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. Works to bring care and support to every community so that no one has to face dementia alone. Support groups create a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. Provides an opportunity for participants to develop mutual support and social relationships. Trained facilitators lead support groups via phone, video, or in person. Also offers Caregiver Support Groups for caregivers of all types of dementia, as well as specific groups tailored to specific populations. Person with Dementia Support Groups are geared towards individuals who have recently been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or dementia and are in the early stage of the disease progression.
