Provides information, resources, and support needed to move life forward. These partners help navigate the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) unique to each individual's situation. In addition to connections to other MS Society services navigators:
  • Assess for personalized case management through the Edward M. Dowd Personal Advocate Program
Provide crisis intervention in times of need
  • Help provide wellness strategies that can improve quality of life including suggestions on diet, exercise, emotional well-being, and connection to local resources
  • Navigate through the complexities of finding healthcare providers, benefits, insurance and access to coverage, and employment
  • Offer financial assistance with obtaining durable medical equipment and aids for daily living, emergency financial assistance for help with housing or utility shut off, respite care, chores, home modifications, and more. Will assist individuals with future planning.

  • Federal Funded Meal Program - Lunches and Grocery Services for Low Income Seniors: For older adults over age 65. Members are permitted to eat their meal onsite, in designated social spaces.

  • Meeting space available for reservation for events/conferences

  • Pickleball
  • Ping pong
  • Social groups including knitting and quilting
  • Special events and trips
  • Support Groups: Cancer, diabetes, grief, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's caregivers, recovery and self care
  • Virtual Outreach: Partnership between 125 LIVE and Elder Network to reach out via Zoom and phone calls to seniors in need of socialization
  • Helps persons with MS with employment concerns, disability discrimination, and ADA information
  • Individual advocacy
  • Legislative advocacy for changes in state and federal public policy
  • Educational programs deliver relevant and accurate information to help face the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Offers in-service training and continuing education for professionals on the topic of MS.
