Senior Center Activities - Albert Lea City Offices
Provides a senior center offering activities for seniors. Services include:
- 5 pool tables that are available free of charge during business hours
?- 500, bridge, bingo
- Chair massage
- Coffee and treats are available for a small fee
- Crafts and card recycling
- Exercise programs such as Zumba Gold, aerobics, yoga, and Bone Builders
- Free blood pressure checks
- Hearing screenings
- Lounge with computers, puzzles, movies, and a library
- Magazines and internet access computers
- Parkinson's Disease support group meetings
- Red Hat Society
- Seasonal holiday parties
- Summer picnic

- Federal Funded Meal Program - Lunches and Grocery Services for Low Income Seniors: For older adults over age 65. Members are permitted to eat their meal onsite, in designated social spaces.

- Library with books in large print
- Meeting space available for reservation for events/conferences
- Music
- Movies
- Pickleball
- Ping pong
- Social groups including knitting and quilting
- Special events and trips
- Support Groups: Cancer, diabetes, grief, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's caregivers, recovery and self care
- Virtual Outreach: Partnership between 125 LIVE and Elder Network to reach out via Zoom and phone calls to seniors in need of socialization
