- NAMI Connection: NAMI Connection is a support group for adults living with mental illness. Groups are free and meet for 90 minutes. All groups are led by trained facilitators who also live with mental illness. Groups provide a welcoming, safe, judgment-free space to share challenges, successes, and learn from one another. - NAMI Open Door Anxiety and Panic Support Groups: NAMI Minnesota's Open Door support groups provide ongoing support for individuals with an anxiety or panic disorder. Groups are free and meet for 90 minutes. Groups are a place to find support, learn new skills and strategies, and better understand and manage anxiety in daily life. The Open Door program is based on the book Embracing the Fear: Learning to Manage Anxiety and Panic Attacks by Judith Bemis and Amr Barrada.
