Provides credit recovery to students in the Minneapolis-metropolitan area. Students may be in grades 10 - 12 and up to 21 years of age to earn a high school diploma. VOAHS is a state-approved Minneapolis Public School Contract Alternative Program.

Offers more than 50 classes throughout the year to community adults. Classes offer opportunities for adults to improve their knowledge base, explore new interests, gain new skills, and make connections. Families join together for a circle time to enjoy songs and finger plays. Parents later join a parenting discussion by a parent educator while children continue their play with an early childhood teacher in the children's classroom.
