Medical Model Children's Advocacy Center (8 am - 4:30 pm)
- Child-focused, facility-based program that conducts forensic interviews and forensic medical exams on pediatric and adolescent patients. Representatives from many disciplines (law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical and victim advocacy) work together, making team decisions about the investigation, treatment, management, and procescution of child abuse cases. Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program
- The SANE program is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week at Sanford Health, Bemidji Emergency Department and RiverView Health, Crookston Emergency Department. Care provided by a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner can include, as appropriate:

Program provides the skills and support people with disabilities or barriers to employment need to succeed in the workplace and match them up with the right job.
Situational Assessment - a short-term work experience designed to help individuals explore their vocational aptitudes and determine the types of support services that will be needed in the workplace.
- Centered-based employment - Paid work at the main facility. Offers various jobs including donation processing, janitorial services, stocking, retail sales, office work, and shipping. Works with individuals in identifying a job within the facility that is well-matched to their skills and interests
- Community based employment - Provides paid work in the community to individuals that need ongoing support to maintain their employment. These jobs are often on crews and may include janitorial, lawn-work, and snow removal
- Supported employment - Provides employment with local community employers. Workers who are hired for community jobs continue to receive training and support from Goodwill Vocational Services team members, and are paid by the hiring company. Area employers may include Super One Foods, Olive Garden, Bernick's Pepsi, Minnesota Power, Grandma's Restaurant, TJ Maxx, Aerostich, Sain. Lukes, Duluth Grill, and WalMart.

- Guardians are appointed to help individuals manage their living situation, health needs, and/or financial affairs. Guardians work with medical, social providers, and caregivers to ensure essential care for the individual.
- Conservators are appointed to manage and preserve assets of the protected individual. Conservators secures assets, pays bills, and manages the individual's financial, real estate, and other assets.
Health Care Agent:
- Health care agents decide how to handle unanticipated medical situations if individuals are unable to communicate their needs. A health care directive may be completed by the health care agent to guide medical decisions on behalf of the individual.
Personal Representative of the Estate:
- A person or organization an individual chooses to settle their estate and carry out requests outlined in their will, wishes, and directives.
Pooled Trust Services:
- A financial investment tool used to preserve funds that enhance the quality of life for individuals living with a disability. Establishing a pooled trust can help protect eligibility for public benefits while still maintaining assets from other sources.
Power of Attorney:
- A written agreement that allows a person or organization an individual chooses to manage their legal and financial affairs. Services can be one-time specific such as handling the sale of a property, paying bills, balancing financial accounts, or preparing forms.
Supported Decision Making:
- A model of care for individuals with cognitive impairment that provides decision-making support to prevent unnecessary guardianship or to help support a restoration of rights for individuals already under guardianship. Decision-making support includes employment, finance, health care, legal matters, living arrangements, and relationships.

Children's reactive sexuality group: Includes behavioral, play, recreational and experiential modalities, and educational process to shape/condition positive, healthy boundaries and behavior for children who have been exposed to some sort of inappropriate sexual situations or activities. Additional individual and family/caregiver education sessions provided to support and complement the child's growing understanding and progress.
Couples group: Provides an educational approach to couples that wish to support the growth and development of their relationship. The couples group supports and seeks to expand a couple's healthy relationship skills and understanding of the developmental nature/dynamics of relationships. Couples group can be a "night out" oriented toward sharing and strengthening relationship experiences and learning ways to sustain lasting relationship success.
Men's group: Small groups for men who have a range of stressors related to their sexuality, sexual behavior, relationship and/or intimacy concerns. The groups are scheduled to provide up to twelve weeks of intensive focus and effort to build new skills in self-control, self-awareness, emotion regulation, communication, coping and healthy sexuality.
Sexual education group: Offers an intervention to youth and/or adults who are demonstrating concern and/or confusion related to sexuality and/or sexual behavior. Topics explored in the education program include:
- Boundaries - Cultural messages about sex/sexuality
- Communication - Sexual functioning / dysfunction and impact on behavior
- Feelings related to sexual behavior and sexuality - Readiness for sex/relationships
- Self-esteem
- Sexual attitudes / beliefs / values - Power and control
- Sexual education - understanding anatomy, recognizing sexual urges, etc. - Consent / Coercion / Force
- Sexuality - Gender, gender roles, masculinity
- Types of Relationships - Continuum of sexual behavior (deviant to healthy)
