Outpatient Services - Leo A. Hoffmann Center

Provides outpatient services such as: - Extensive outpatient sexual behavior assessment - Parent/Caregiver Support Groups: Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to learn more about dynamics of sexual misconduct and treatment, as well as share their struggles in coming to terms with their adolescent's sexual behavior problems - Treatment group for adolescent males ages 11 - 18 experiencing problematic sexual behavior Group Therapy Treatment Program: - 12 - 16 weeks of sessions - Family and individualized therapy as recommended - Individualized treatment plan - Parents support group - Progress Review meetings upon request - Services may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy skills training, educational curriculum, and experiential group therapy Individual Therapy Services: - Cognitive behavioral therapy - Dialectical behavior therapy - Play therapy - Pro-social skills training

Weekly support groups which help youth stay on track with their goals and build a sense of community. Groups include: - RESILIENT: Empowers and fosters recovery and resilience for victims of crime - The REAL: Trauma informed group which fosters independent living skills - So What If I Am: LGBTQ support group - Work Ready: Employment training program

Chemical Dependency Education - Lutheran Social Service - Alexandria

Offers a variety of chemical dependency education classes including: - Choices: education about chemical dependency short and long term effects, decision-making, safety, and communication for teens and their parents/guardians. - Substance Abuse Violation Education (SAVE): provides both education and self-assessment tools related to substance use for adults. - Yield: informational course about the risks and effects of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs for teens, but parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to attend.
