- Bible Study Courses: Free correspondence courses provide inmates with an introduction to the Bible and its messages. - Chaplaincy and Counseling: Chaplains and counselors are available to visit inmates; conduct Bible classes, chapel services, and musical programs; and provide individual or group counseling. - Family Services: Help to families may include spiritual counseling, material aid, group support. - Christmas Aid to Inmates' Families: Service brings joy to families by providing a catalog of gifts inmates can choose for their families. Prisons participating include: Moose Lake/Willow River, St Cloud, Sandstone, Hennepin County Workhouse, Red Wing, Faribault, Shakopee and Lino Lakes. - Community Corrections: Inmates preparing for release or parole may be eligible for court-approved services offered by Salvation Army including job training and placement, housing services through Harbor Light or the Adult Rehabilitation Center, and help in reestablishing family and community relationships. Referrals to Salvation Army offices and outside agencies for financial assistance and other social service needs.

Offers three experiential workshops in nonviolence and conflict resolution. The workshops teach: - Conflict management skills, understanding the underlying causes of violence, team building, and leadership skills - Discussion topics to understand affirmation, communication, cooperation, and conflict resolution - Every participant to find their innate power to positively transform themselves first and the world they live in - Training facilitator workshops to focus on facilitation skills to become successful facilitators. The curriculum includes learning to build agendas for a basic level workshop, feedback, team skills, facilitation techniques, and leadership training.

- Federal government documents - Library of legal materials - Online information including searches for library materials, links to county law libraries, answers to frequently asked questions on the law and legal procedures - Under an inter-agency agreement with the Minnesota Department of Corrections, the Outreach Services Department provides law library services to inmates incarcerated in Minnesota. Law librarians conduct regularly scheduled visits to eight correctional facilities to meet with inmates. Inmates can write or call for legal information between visits.
