• 24-hour crisis response to exploited youth

Specialized emergency shelter, supportive housing, and mental health services to youth who are commercially sexually exploited, trafficked, or at high risk of sexual exploitation. DHS-licensed housing programs for eligible youth include emergency shelter (The Loft) and group residential housing (Sol House) Mental health support services:

• Trauma-informed therapy
• Substance abuse recovery support
• Peer support groups

• Case Management: Southeast Minnesota Regional Navigator works with domestic minor sex trafficking victims

• Community Groups: Staff assist community members with organizing groups to raise awareness, advocate for resources, and provide education and prevention

• Consultation: Professionals working with sexually exploited youth or trafficking victims can get advice, referrals, and other assistance

• Outreach: Staff and volunteers help with spreading the word about sex trafficking, Safe Harbor, and services

• Prevention: Provides sex trafficking prevention programs

• Protocol Development: As a part of the Safe Harbor Program model, protocols have been issued by the state. Staff help agencies adapt and implement these protocols.

• Training: Staff offer training specialized for professionals by discipline or to community groups

Provides services to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, dating violence, elder abuse, trafficking, and general crime who are native and non-native women, men, and youth who live on or near the White Earth Reservation. Services provided include:

• 24 hours/7 days a week crisis line support for victims

• Assistance with orders for protection, harassment restraining orders, safety planning, victim impact statements, and applying for Minnesota reparations claims for survivors

• Child advocacy center

• Community outreach

• Court, trial, and sentencing accompaniment and support

• Direct services such as crisis intervention, advocacy, transportation, empowerment sessions, and information and referral of resources

• Information on elder abuse, community outreach, and education

• Safe harbor for youth who engage in prostitution

• Shelter access and safe housing
