Services include: - Case management - Child protection services to protect Native American children - Court system advocacy to assist counties serving Native American children who have been victims of abuse and/or neglect and assist the court in understanding the unique characteristic of Indian clients - Crisis intervention - Families First and Prevention Services: Short-term 4-6 weeks intensive crisis intervention and family education services to preserve Indian families. Provides parenting education, problem-solving skills, communication and negotiation skills, child development training, job-readiness training, and parenting classes - Out of home placement supervision - Stay Program: Support group for independent living skills development for youth ages 14 - 21 such as group education and recreational activities to learn about healthy lifestyles - Referral services to local community social service agencies

Fillmore County Victim Services provides trained staff who will speak to clubs, schools, or organizations on topics including child sexual assault prevention, sexual harassment, date rape, stalking, and all services offered by Fillmore County Victim Services. The program coordinates with the Rochester Civic Theater to present "Touch Continuum" and "No Easy Answers" prevention programs for elementary and middle school students.

This initiative provides education, works with communities, and trains and supports a network of presenters, using the ACE Interface curriculum. The focus is to raise awareness about how adversity impacts the development and well-being of individuals, families, and communities. The initiative shares neurobiology, epigenetics, ACEs and resilience (NEAR) research to catalyze individual and community-driven actions that foster understanding, hope and healing.

This project broadens understanding of trauma - Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), historical trauma, and the impact of colonization - and its relationship to individual and community health and wellbeing in tribal communities. The project builds the knowledge, skills, and confidence of community members around neurobiology, epigenetics, ACEs and resilience (NEAR) research and holistic health topics to strengthen the self-efficacy of tribal communities in creating healing systems.

Provides legal advice and representation to parents who are involved with Child Protection, both before and during court proceedings with the understanding that working with Child Protection can be an overwhelming and stressful process. The program's goal is to help clients and their families prevent court involvement and achieve positive outcomes if clients do have to go to court. Services include: - Provide legal advice before and during court involvement - Represent clients in child protection court to help clients reach their goals - Connect clients with services and supports to help their families achieve stability - Advocate for clients with Child Protection and the courts to ensure clients rights are protected ARS is not affiliated with the Hennepin County Attorney's Office or the Hennepin County Child Protection.
