  • Mediation: Structured dispute resolution process in which a neutral third party assists people in reaching a settlement of differences. It is a voluntary process that provides an opportunity for all parties to express and resolve issues which may be of concern to them. It requires all parties to enter into a dialogue with good faith and a desire to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.
