Emergency Assistance - Hometown Resource Center

The Hometown Resource Center may provide emergency assistance with food, clothing and shelter. The center offers a one-time rent payment assistance. In extreme crisis situations and only when funding is available, the center may provide motel vouchers (for short-term stays only). The center may provide gas cards for people needing to get to work or important appointments (on a case by case basis). Gas cards are not available for people with Medicare or Medicaid (because they have other options for transportation). Staff may also provide information and referral to other community resources for people.
