Christmas Clearing Bureaus Programs that coordinate the delivery of Christmas assistance to community residents by screening people who apply for assistance utilizing agency criteria, maintaining lists of individuals who have been aided, and checking new applicants against the lists before clearing them for assistance in order to avoid duplication of service and maximize the availability of Christmas resources throughout the community. A child may only be registered once, and only one registration is allowed per family.
