Patient Travel Assistance - Blood Cancer United - Upper Plains Region
The program is available to blood cancer patients with significant financial need. Those who qualify will receive $500, once within a 6 month period, to cover the cost of treatment-related travel and lodging expenses for the patient and caregiver, including: ground transportation; tolls; gas; parking; car rental; car maintenance, repairs, and parts; air transportation; baggage fees; lodging; and ambulance services.
The following expenses are not covered: food and beverages, alcohol, tobacco, clothing, medical/pharmacy expenses, and international travel. Any expense not covered by the program may be subject to audit and may result in loss of award.

Financial Assistance for Military Families - Minnesota Military Family Foundation - MMFF
Distributes money through grants and loans to currently-serving Minnesota military members and their families that are experiencing financial stress. Examples of types of grants/loans may include but are not limited to: 
- Appliance replacement or repair
- Airline tickets for parents to visit and be with their wounded warriors
- Financial assistance for mortgage/rent payments
- Undesignated financial assistance
- Vehicle repair
