Ombudsman for Long-Term Care - Minnesota Board on Aging
An independent state agency that works to preserve individual rights for all who are living in a long-term care community. Serves individuals needing or receiving long-term care through complaint investigation, advocacy, and education. Services provided:
- Advocates for reform through state and federal legislation and the health care and social services system to better meet consumer needs

- AARP Driver Safety Program: Driving program geared to assist seniors in maintaining and improving their driving skills. Initial class is 8 hours, follow-up classes are 4 hours every 3 years for a mandatory 10% discount on auto insurance in Minnesota
- Information on insurance for automobiles, homes, mobile homes, motor club, health and life, prescriptions, investments, etc.
- Information on legal services for seniors

- Information on tax assistance sites available to seniors February - April
