Johnson O'Malley Program - Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe
Indian Education Committees are elected from parents or legal guardians of eligible Indian students. The purpose of the Johnson O'Malley Parent Committee is to bring about the most effective Indian education program possible. To achieve this, the Indian Education Committee shall participate fully in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the JOM Program.  All JOM projects are required to submit a yearly education plan. This is the written document that outlines the plan for providing programs to meet the unique and specialized education needs of Indian Students. It identifies:
- The needs of the Indian students
- The goals and objectives to be accomplished
- Procedures to be followed
- Methods to be used in evaluating the program
