Offers food shelves once a month by appointment to receive fresh produce, frozen meat, shelf-stable foods, bread and bakery items, personal care products, household cleaning supplies, and pet food when available. In addition, they may visit weekly for fresh produce, dairy, and bread/bakery items. Donations are accepted during food shelves' open hours and may include canned and boxed foods, cereal, peanut butter, pasta, rice, juice, pet food, dish and laundry soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and shampoo/conditioner.

Food Shelf and Essential Items - Gather and Grow Food Shelf and Connect Center

Offer food and groceries, household essentials, personal care items, and pet food. Essential items available may be diapers, baby formula, shampoo/conditioner, adult briefs, laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Shoppers can shop twice per month. Grocery delivery service is available to local older adults who have mobility or limited transportation options. Grocery deliveries take place monthly.

Food Shelf - ACBC Food Shelf and Thrift Store

- Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP): Provides low-income adults ages 60 and older with additional food and nutrition education. Items are selected by participants each month. - Food Shelf Market: Can be utilized once each month. Individuals receive a 7-to-10-day supply of food including fresh produce, meat, dairy, eggs, bread, shelf-stable, pet food, hygiene, and more. Choices can not be guaranteed due to limited quantity of items. - Summer Food for Kids: During the regular food shopping appointment, households with school-age children have the option to choose additional 'kid-friendly' food - Weekly Program: Additional food services available for those who are experiencing homelessness. Other special events such as produce distributions and additional shopping opportunities on select Fridays. - Personal care items and food donations are accepted

Food Shelf - Annandale Food Shelf

Provides food for individuals and families in emergency food situations, living in Annandale and Maple Lake school districts and surrounding area. Food distribution includes: - Food shelf which can be used once a month (quantity based on household size) - Household items: Cat and dog food, cat litter, diapers, and baby wipes (limited supplies, must ask what is available) - NAPS (Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors) food distributed on the third Monday and Wednesday of every month NOTE: Accepts donations of fresh produce, and garden-raised vegetable, and offers volunteer opportunities

- 3-5 days of groceries provided - Fresh vegetables, excess bakery, and canned goods are placed in an area daily and are available to anyone including those that have used the food shelf many times - Pet food available on a limited basis - Accepts food and pet food donations

Food Shelf - Big Lake Community Food Shelf

Provides monthly food services for those in need. Clients are able to visit the food shelf once a month. Services include: - A combination of fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, and other perishable and nonperishable items such as personal hygiene items or pet food are provided. How much a client can take depends on their family size, and availability. Donations are also accepted. - Pop-Up Pantry: Provides extra food for anyone in need. The client will be able to pick the food items they would like from what is available that day. This visit is extra and does not affect a regular monthly visit. - Drive-thru: Provides extra food for anyone in need. A volunteer will load up pre-packed food into the vehicle. This visit is extra and does not affect a regular monthly visit.

Adoption, Lost and Found, and Surrender Services - Carver Scott Humane Society

- Accepts surrenders of cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies and enables them to be available for adoption - Accepts reports of lost or found animals - Before animals are adopted, the agency vaccinates puppies against rabies, checks for feline leukemia, uses heartworm tests, and provides heartworm preventative to healthy dogs or gives dogs who test positive for heartworm a second chance by treating them. Also uses microchip technology and spaying/neutering of adult animals prior to adoption. - Fur Keeps: Keeps pets with their owners by providing resources, assistance, and training to help families and pets stay together. Shelter diversion, emergency financial assistance for veterinary care (pays for 50% of the service with a $1,000 maximum, visit website for additional details), and pet food (2-week supply of food provided per pet per family once within a calendar month) are provided. - Low-kill organization. Does not euthanize based on supply and demand of pet overpopulation. Works with participating vets and only euthanizes animals deemed un-adoptable due to severe health issues or un-remediable behavior problems, such as aggression and biting.
