Food Programs - Al-Maa'uun

Fresh Produce: Delivers fresh produce to residents within a 10 mile radius of the office Household Goods Distribution: Provides quarterly and seasonal distribution events for those in need including cleaning supplies, food boxes, shelf stable items, diapers, PPE, light bulbs, winter clothing. Visit website for schedule. Available items vary and are first come, first serve. Meals on Wheels: Provides Halal meals to seniors age 60 and older or individuals who have a CADI Waiver Summer Food: During the summer, youth ages 18 and under can receive prepared meals, breakfast and lunch, daily. Must eat meal on-site at community locations or the agency main office.

Community Connect Resource Fair Event - Damiano Center

A twice-a-year program held in January and October offers several free services for guests to access in the same place. These services include but are not limited to: - Assistance with Minnesota birth certificates - Chair massages - Free lunch - Foot care - Hair trims - Housing-related coordinated entry/SPDATs - Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing - Warrant resolution and driver diversion - Vaccines

Stand Down and Job Fair Event - Saint Cloud Stand Down

Resource fair addresses concerns of WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, and Desert Storm vets, along with OIF/OEF returnees. Also, attention is given to concerns of veterans of other conflicts and to those with peace time service. Family members of re-deployed personnel may be interested in many of the services that are offered. All veterans are welcome, regardless of discharge status. Health and Wellness Programs - Atwater Area Help for Seniors

- Hosted Foot Care: by appointment for a foot soak, trim, and callous care - Walking program: at the community center for individuals to walk in a temperature controlled environment - Exercise program: based on Pilates and yoga; open to anyone interested; a variety of exercises are done with both video and volunteer guidance - SAIL: Stay Active and Independent for Life: groups meet either in the morning or evening to focus on exercises that strengthen bone density, improve balance, strength, and fall prevention - Matter of Balance: an 8-week, 2-hour fall prevention class held once per year that focuses on improving flexibility, strength, confidence, and skills in fall prevention - Powerful Tools for Caregivers: a 6-week, 90-minute annual class for family caregivers focused on care for themselves while caring for a loved one Offers an annual health fair providing: - Health screenings - Flu shots - Information booths on aging and health resources

Senior Expo - Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) - Senior and Nutrition Services

Every year, Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) hosts a Senior Expo event filled with food, entertainment, games, exhibits, and more. The Center is decorated with a festival carnival theme for all ages from the seven-county region to enjoy.
