AGAIN/MVAC Thrift and More - Minnesota Valley Action Council

- Accepts household items and clothing and provides tax deductions to the extent allowed by law - Arrangements made for any special needs - Clothing, housewares, furniture, toys, books, linens, small electronics, and other items for sale - Provides volunteer opportunities and special incentives for volunteers. Accepts donations of money and supplies, including: - Fleece tie blankets - Pillows - Quilts - Twin bedding appropriate for children ages 2 - 17 - Twin bed sheets - Twin comforters - Twin mattress pads Provides a twin bed frame, box spring, twin mattresses, mattress pad, bedding, a new pair of pajamas, and a dental kit delivered to a child's home. Assistance is limited to one in a lifetime. Volunteer opportunities include bed delivery and in-home setup, as well as fundraising activities.

Thrift Store - Rushford - Grace Place

Grace Place provides a thrift store offering baby clothing, limited supplies of maternity clothing, children and adult clothing, baby equipment, furniture, household goods, and crafts supplies. The store is run by volunteers and proceeds fund Grace Place programs. The store accepts gently used clothing, household items and furniture (please note that furniture is accepted by appointment only). Families in the Outreach Program are able to select 6 items per month from the store at no charge and also have access to personal hygiene and household cleaning supplies at no charge.

Habitat ReStore - Habitat For Humanity Serving Winona County

The Habitat ReStore sells gently used and new building materials, tools, and furniture at a discount to the community. Inventory is donated by community businesses and individuals. Proceeds support local Habitat for Humanity repair and construction projects. Items accepted include cabinets, furniture, doors, hardware, kitchen and bath fixtures, light fixtures, lumber, flooring, and more. Donation pick-up is available by appointment and donations can be brought to the drive-thru during business hours. Volunteer opportunities are available.
