The AmeriCorpsSeniors-Arrowhead Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) engages older adults ages 55 and older in volunteer services to meet community needs and to provide an experience that enriches their lives. Arrowhead Volunteers promotes volunteering by assisting people of all ages, including families, to find volunteer opportunities in their communities. Drivers must have a clean driving record, be willing to contribute 1-2 hours per ride, and can provide assistance through flexible scheduling based upon their availability. - Gala Volunteer Coordinator assists the Committee Chair by providing with assistance in procuring volunteers to support the Gala, as well as to coordinate those volunteers. - Group Respite volunteers who aid with facilitation of Group Respite activities, providing clients with additional one-on-one assistance. - In-kind donations for silent auction, PPE, and necessary office supplies. - Mailing volunteers assist with mailings that occur on a semi-annual basis. - Male respite care 2 - 5 hours per week - Office and Development volunteers can provide clerical assistance in organizing event-related files and folders, making calls, writing and sending thank you cards, etc. - Receptionist - Silent Auction Volunteers work with 10-20 assigned/self-selected businesses/individuals in the community who are able to provide Elder Network with donated goods or services for their silent auction at the annual gala in September. - Social Media Volunteers help to develop content for social media account by collecting client testimonials, taking photographs, and helping draft content for the social media posts. - Socialization volunteers for friendly visitor program 1 - 2 hours per week - Technology assistance program volunteers to teach seniors how to use tablets to converse on Zoom and other digital platforms 1 - 2 hours per week

Services and amenities include: - 30 private unfurnished apartments, including 29 1-bedroom and 1 2-bedroom apartment - 3 meals a day available for an additional cost - Assisted living services as needed, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Bed-making services - Emergency response pendants to call for help 24 hours/7 days a week - Full housekeeping and laundry - Medication set-ups, reminders and administration - On duty care staff 24 hours/7 days a week - Pet friendly apartments upon approval - Physician who makes "house calls" by request - Registered nurse (RN) on duty 5 days a week and on call 24 hours/7 days a week - Resident-controlled heat and air conditioning in every apartment - Stove and fridge in each apartment - Wander Guard System: Bracelet that lets staff know when residents are by a door - Volunteer opportunities available including calling bingo, running errands, nail care, hair care or visiting with residents.

Senior Companions are volunteers 55 years of age and older who visit frail elderly to assist them in living independently in their homes. Senior Companions provide support to family caregivers, assist with grocery shopping, appointments, errands, and act as a community advocate. Lutheran Social Services is actively seeking volunteers for this program. Volunteers receive an hourly tax-free stipend and mileage reimbursement.

In Home Care Service is a licensed service that provides an individualized assistance plan to help maintain and support healthy independent aging in the home and community. Aging individuals receive assistance in their home from a trained staff with a daily personal plan which can include household maintenance (laundry/cleaning), personal cares, and/or home management (phone calls, organizing, reading mail, arranging appointments), and socialization.

Services include: - Transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and social activities - Assistance with correspondence, such as paying bills - Help with simple household tasks - Friendly visiting and advocacy to assist the client in staying independent and healthy Lutheran Social Services is actively seeking volunteers for this program. Volunteers receive a monthly stipend and mileage reimbursement.
