Professionals from a variety of health care disciplines including psychiatrists, hospitalists, registered nurses, social workers, program specialists and leisure skills facilitators assist patients with treatment and recovery.
Sexual Assault/Rape Victim Nurse Examiner: When a victim comes to the emergency department, a sexual assault nurse examiner can evaluate him or her for health risks and provide treatment.
