- Outpatient Mental Health: Provides individual, couple or family therapy including transgender therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, art-based therapy, play-based therapy, Theraplay, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness - Multisystemic Therapy: Provides an intensive, evidence-based treatment for youth age 12 - 17 currently living at home and exhibiting high-risk behaviors that may result in out-of-home placement or school expulsion. Referral from the Hennepin County Community Connections and Rehabilitation only. - Transgender Mental Health: Provides therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families regarding gender identity development - Diversity Social Work Advancement Program: Master's degree students provide low or no-cost, outpatient therapy services to underrepresented communities (BIPOC, new immigrants, refugees and LGBTQ+) for adults, adolescents, and children in individual, family, couple and group formats - School Linked Mental Health: Provides therapy for children and young adults up to age 21 at participating partner schools. Diagnostic assessments and treatment plans address issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, PTSD, Autism, and behavioral difficulties such as adjusting to life changes, academic struggles or a lack of motivation, peer-related issues such as bullying or establishing positive social skills. Provides outpatient services such as: - Extensive outpatient sexual behavior assessment - Parent/Caregiver Support Groups: Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to learn more about dynamics of sexual misconduct and treatment, as well as share their struggles in coming to terms with their adolescent's sexual behavior problems - Treatment group for adolescent males ages 11 - 18 experiencing problematic sexual behavior Group Therapy Treatment Program: - 12 - 16 weeks of sessions - Family and individualized therapy as recommended - Individualized treatment plan - Parents support group - Progress Review meetings upon request - Services may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy skills training, educational curriculum, and experiential group therapy Individual Therapy Services: - Cognitive behavioral therapy - Dialectical behavior therapy - Play therapy - Pro-social skills training

Child and Youth Outpatient Mental Health Services - Northern Pines Mental Health Center - Central Minnesota

Provides outpatient mental health services such as: - Child Psychiatry Services: Performs a full range of medical laboratory, psychological tests, and medication management to help assess both the physical and mental aspects of the client's mental health. - Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): Helps clients suffering from mood disorders and those with harmful behavior patterns to increase emotion regulation skills, decrease fluctuating emotions and moods, increase distress tolerance skills, interpersonal effectiveness skills, and mindfulness. - Infant to Child Outpatient Services: Offers diagnostic assessments, play therapy, relational therapy, parenting training, trauma-informed care psychotherapy, interaction therapy, in-home family therapy and skills, mental health behavior aide, care coordination for early childhood support, and referrals to occupational and physical therapies and special education resources.

Outpatient Services for Children - Southwestern Mental Health Center

Provides outpatient mental health services. Services include: - Adolescent dialectical behavioral therapy - Children's Therapeutic Services and Support (CTSS) - Child psychiatric assessment and medication - Home-based services - Individual, family, and group therapy - Play and experimental therapy - Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Assist individuals and loved ones on the following issues: - Academic struggles - Anxiety - Coping with change - Depression - Grief and loss - Overcoming trauma - Maladaptive coping that interferes with daily life - Managing mental health - Relationship conflict - Social skills deficits - Survivor of physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse NOTE: Provides a 24-hour crisis line available to individuals in need of mental health services. The mobile crisis response team is available to help in person, at home, at school, at work, or wherever the crisis occurs.
