The Leech Lake Anishinaabe Women's Halfway House treatment component is a seven-bed facility designed to work with the client as a "whole", Native American 12-step approach. This agency provides individual counseling, groups, Cognitive Behavioral therapies, Service coordination, relapse education as well as incorporating women's issues, with a special focus on trauma, grief and loss for a total or minimum of 15 hours per week of treatment.
Group homes for up to 14 residents, split into adolescent girls and boys ages 10 - 19 who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral difficulty. The program provides service coordination across systems and gradually incorporates informal community supports to prepare youth for their transition to their home community. - Group/individual outpatient treatment utilizing a cognitive behavioral, non-traditional approach. It is designed for adolescents ages 13 - 18 years with a diagnosis of a substance use disorder. The goal of the program is to keep adolescents in their home communities. It includes group sessions, intensive care management, consultations, individual, and concerned persons/family sessions. - Substance use assessments

Housing intended to provide a stable, safe, and sober environment where men can live and work on their goals whether it be financial, school, medical, sobriety, etc. A community housing environment with programs, a minimum amount of rules, and communal sharing of house chores. Provides private furnished bedrooms for rent with a common kitchen, bathroom, social room, and a small exercise room/laundromat. There is a phone provided, but food, laundry, and cable TV are the resident's responsibility. Some rooms have a TV and refrigerator.

Homeless families may remain with their children while receiving help for chemical dependency - Provides families with a support network of services and increase their chances of staying sober - These services work with families as part of a plan of care coordinated with other agencies. Women and\or men and their families will be able to stay for up to two years, but must be in treatment or in a treatment aftercare program - There are four two-bedroom apartments for the women and their children, a one-bedroom apartment for the on-site manager and a room that is used for meetings and for studying on computers - The household will become a community of support and will provide social activities so the women will not be enticed to go back to their old lifestyle of hanging out with drinking friends

Halfway home which provides a sober environment including: - Meals: One home cooked meal provided daily. 2 other meals available daily at all hours for those unable to attend the scheduled daily meal. - Nursing and Medications:Registered Nurse staff provide coverage for basic needs and medication administration - Self-Help Groups: Participation in Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and other self-help groups is encouraged but not mandatory on site - Transportation: Provided by staff for residents in need of travel to mental illness/chemical dependency treatment, medical appointments and emergencies. Also provides bus vouchers for residents in need on a daily first come first served basis. Accepts donations of: - Blankets - Board games - Books - Decks of cards - Gently used clothing including outerwear, socks and shoes - Magazines - Puzzles - Towels Internships available.

Housing with services for men who need personalized care. Overcomers specializes in helping those that are struggling with mental health issues, mental illness, chemical dependency, traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities that may lack adequate housing. Residents are provided three meals a day, personal care, medication management, support groups, accountability, job and education coaching as well as transportation to care providers and aftercare programs. We also network with social workers, parole and probation officers, and aftercare providers. Staff is trained to provide a loving and safe environment that is supportive for each resident.
