Through auditions, a select group of musicians is placed into one of four orchestras according to their abilities and talents: Strings, Philharmonic, Repertory, and Symphony. Orchestras have three sectionals each season, once each trimester, with members of the Minnesota Orchestra. Orchestras give three major concerts per season at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, as well as chamber ensemble, compositions, and solo competition performances throughout the season.
