Professional Member Association - Minnesota Social Service Association - MSSA

Association includes the following: - Conduct regional conferences each fall throughout the state on social issues - Furnish information on pending human services bills and support sound social legislation - Provide a statewide forum for the presentation and discussion of issues in the human service field - Publishes a quarterly newsletter for membership on legislative issues and programming updates. The newsletter also spotlights members and highlights upcoming events - Serve as a channel for local and state planning interests on matters of human services - Sponsor annual MSSA conference - Sponsor training events in one day forums on variety of human service issues NOTE: Does not provide direct services and is not a referral service

Professional Society - Minnesota Psychological Association - MPA

Network of Mental Health professionals and associates throughout the state of Minnesota, that offers memberships for mental health practitioners interested to be part of the network, to connect, share ideas, and resources to organize and offer conferences; workshops; and online groups on matters of psychology. Also offers an online tool for finding a psychologist by area of practice, language, patient age range, etc.
